So I came to work every day in hose, heels, and a dress. And I came with a suitcase every day, because for swimming, I had to bring a bathing suit. For modern dance, I had to bring a leotard. And for any sports, I had to bring shorts and shirt. So the swimming pool offered a dressing room. Otherwise, I dressed in the ladies' restroom, in a stall. And I would take my suitcase with me; then I would take it back to the office and get ready for the next change of clothes that I had. We had no gymnasium. The first time I met with the president, he asked me if I had seen the blueprints for the gymnasium we were going to build as soon as we got the money. And I told him, yes, I had seen the blueprints. And I also noticed that they were yellow, which told me they had been there for some time."
