Playing Outside the Lines

The Playing Outside the Lines exhibit focuses on the impact of Title IX and Division III sports on the whole self. Oral histories by Trinity women athletes who competed from the 1960s to the early 2000s are integrated throughout the exhibit to illuminate their experiences as a student-athletes. This exhibit demonstrates how these women have spent decades breaking gender norms, fighting through inequalities, and advocating for women to be equally supported in athletics. It also highlights women athletes who stood out at Trinity and those who have been successful far past their student-athlete career.
